ASU Lacrosse Alumni Network
The ASU Lacrosse program has a strong and growing alumni network built on the connections, friendships, and shared experiences that make our program special. We encourage all current and former players to stay connected and engage with our alumni community both during their time at ASU and long after graduation.
Our alumni network is more than a way to stay in touch. It is a community dedicated to supporting one another through career opportunities, professional networking, personal connections, and all aspects of life beyond the playing field.
As an officially recognized ASU Alumni Group, our alumni are also committed to supporting the continued success and growth of the lacrosse program in several important ways.
Alumni Scholarship
The ASU Lacrosse Alumni Group sponsors an official Arizona State University scholarship available to current team members.
Current players are encouraged to apply [here]. This scholarship is administered through ASU just like other university scholarships, with awarded funds applied directly toward the recipient's tuition.
We are proud to invest in our players' academic success and help make their ASU experience even more rewarding.
Team Support & Fundraising
Our alumni play an important role in supporting the team financially each year. Alumni contributions help individual players meet their fundraising commitments while also providing resources for the team's ongoing needs.
Players working toward their annual $1,000 fundraising requirement are encouraged to reach out to alumni and ask for support through a player-specific donation. Our alumni are proud to help current players reach their fundraising goals and remain active members of the program.
Beyond individual player fundraising, alumni donations help fund important team equipment, facilities, and travel expenses. The shot clocks and scoreboard used during games and practices, for example, were made possible in part through alumni contributions. Alumni also provide significant financial support toward the team's expenses when qualifying for and traveling to the National Tournament.
Every contribution, large or small, helps strengthen the program and create opportunities for future Sun Devils.
Senior "Welcome to the Alumni" Gifts
Since 2008, the ASU Lacrosse Alumni Group has maintained a special tradition of recognizing graduating seniors with a framed ASU Lacrosse jersey. This keepsake commemorates their time representing Arizona State and provides a lasting reminder of the friendships, experiences, and memories made along the way.
The Alumni Group funds these gifts, which are presented at the end-of-year banquet. Eligible players are also officially welcomed into the alumni community and invited to join the alumni sideline at future alumni events.
To receive a framed jersey, players must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduate from Arizona State University.
- Play four years of lacrosse at ASU. An exception may be made for players who spent one year playing lacrosse at another institution, provided they meet the graduation requirement above.
- Remain in good standing with the lacrosse program.
Alumni Recognition for Two-Year+ Players
We also recognize players who have graduated from ASU and dedicated at least two years to the lacrosse program.
These players receive an engraved beer mug in recognition of their commitment and contributions to ASU Lacrosse. They are also welcomed and encouraged to participate in alumni gatherings and festivities upon graduation.
Whether you played two years or four, our goal is to keep you connected to the program and the people who made your ASU Lacrosse experience memorable.
